Data Systems Analysts, Inc. is searching for a Data Collection and Instrumentation DBA. This positon is located at Fort Hood TX. Job description includes but not limited to Loads and configures collection systems (SDC, NDC, XDC, D-MOD) Ensures compliance with IACM for all Instrumentation systems Support the ORSA, Test Officer, CSA, and CM to meet test requirements, test incident investigation and CM documentation Provides, connects and maintains special collection connectors (Edgeport, etc.) Establishes connectivity on tactical and instrumentation networks for collection systems Loads and configures SQL Server Loads and performs preliminary configuration of JTS-SSPL system Loads and configures PLGR emulator, DAUVS and Pinger systems Tests all equipment after configuration to ensure proper operation Starts all collection systems before the start of testing every day Starts new database every test day Monitors Instrumentation systems during test Troubleshoots and repairs any instrumentation problems noted during test Performs daily harvest of data collected during test Prepares data for storage and moves to storage array at the end of the test Maintains storage array and deletes test data once it reaches three years of age Plans and coordinates life cycle replacement and upgrades Requirements include 3 years experience operating a Tactical C4ISR System. Certified operator on Tactical C4ISR systems Knowledge of Army Battle Command Systems (ABCS) Knowledge of Data AnalysisTroubleshooting procedures Skilled in Microsoft Office applications Knowledge of Army organization Must meet DoDD 8570.01 standards Preferred experience Knowledge of Data AnalysisTroubleshooting procedures Knowledge of network functions Knowledge of Army Battle Command Systems (ABCS) MUST HAVE AN ACTIVE TSS DOD CLEARANCE this will be verified prior to interview.
